Shepley v Meltham Drakes League Premiership Saturday 23rd June 2007 Marsh Lane, Shepley
A great win for the 1st XI over fourth-placed Delph & Dobcross. Trent Copeland led the way as Shepley posted 227-5, with a classy maiden hundred for the Club, sealed by a boundary off the final ball of the innings. When the visitors batted, they were looking comfortable at 112-1 when Danny Glover took over. Celebrating his 21st birthday the previous Thursday, Danny took 6-47 to add to last Sunday's 7-21: quite a celebration! Phil Heaton chipped in with three wickets as a comfortable 41 run win was achieved.
