For the second time in a week, Shepley lost to a strong Elland side, but the performance here was much improved. Led by a solid middle order performance from Phil Heaton, Trent Copeland and Ashley Littlewood, Shepley reached a respectable 204-6. Elland's reply started well through former county players Ryan Robinson and Richard Blakey, before Danny Glover took out the middle order. Shepley looked in with a chance, but Acharya and Jakeman steadied their innings and Elland got home with four wickets in hand.
