Shepley v Emley Clarence Drakes Premiership Saturday 11th August 2007 Marsh Lane, Shepley
An excellent win against a decent Emley side lifted the gloom after three consecutive wins. A great game of cricket with some excellent performances. Shepley's innings was dominated by a second wicket stand between Phil Heaton and Tom Denton who dominated the Emley attack and helped post an impressive 260-5. In reply, Emley's class players, Matthew Wood and Khilji looked foe a while as if they might chase the total down, but the returning Trent Copeland and Danny Glover bowled well to make sure they fell short.
