A more convincing win than even the scorecard suggests. Shepley were always in control once Danny Glover dismissed both openers on the way to 5-36 - all clean bowled. He got great support from the other bowlers, particularly Tom Denton with three wickets and Phil Heaton whose first ten overs conceded a miserly three runs. Once Shepley batted a mature innings from young opener Tom Denton and more quality from Phil Heaton led the way, whilst Simon Potter and Rob Denton made sure there were no alarms at the end.
