Shepley v Lascelles Hall Drakes League Premiership Sunday 1st July 2007 Marsh Lane, Shepley
Another frustrating day as the rain prevented the Hall beginning their chase of a challenging Shepley total of 154-8 after a reduced innings of 35 overs. At 23-5 Shepley looked in real trouble, but 17-year-old Ashley Brothers had other ideas. Supported by a dogged 31* from Rob Denton, Ashley smashed the Hall attack to all corners, hitting four fours and eight sixes in his 82. Earlier, both Phil Heaton and Trent Copeland were victims of dreadful lbw decisions.
