Despite returning to almost full strength - Trent
Copeland was still unable to bowl - Shepley lost an important relegation game
for the second successive match. Only Tom Denton and Danny Glover looked
entirely at home with the bat, but 168 was at least defensible.
Unfortunately, Meltham plugged away, despite an excellent 5-33 from skipper Phil
Heaton, and reached their target with a ball to spare. We need points
quickly!
