Shepley v Meltham Sykes Cup Quarter Final Sunday 17th June 2007 Marsh Lane, Shepley
A great performance by Shepley, as Meltham were blown away in the Sykes Cup Quarter Final. Shepley dominated after a rocky start, with a superb stand between Tom Denton (106) and Trent Copeland (67) ensuring that a competitive total was reached. Once Meltham started their reply, their solid opening was to no avail once Danny Glover entered the attack. A wonderful display of pace bowling saw Danny end up with 7-21 - five clean bowled - as the visitors crumbled, leaving Shepley comfortable winners with more than 14 overs to spare.
